YAHOO I’m kniting!
I’ve started my first knitting project. Yea I’ve rarely knitted before and I’m just learning. All of my other knitting items have just been practice and most have been pulled back out due to not looking like any thing I’ve actually tried to create.
I’m using a version of this pattern Triangle Shawl From Lion Brand. They have many free patterns but you have to sign into their website. I’m using a blue green yarn with a sparkly thread through it. The color of my shawl is very similar to the color of this font. The shawl is starting out beautiful so now I have to watch and monitor my own stitching so that I can finish it off nicely.
The difference between my pattern and the pattern linked above is that my pattern repeats both row one and two. Knit one row without increase, increase by two stitches the next row and on like that to the end. As soon as my shawl gets finished, I’ll post a photo of it.
It’s finally finished!!
One thing I’ve found out for me at least is that it is easier to do a project like this shawl that calls for LARGE needles. I had a much harder time with smaller needles then these huge ones.
